Volunteer: Virtual Reality - Adventure GuideShare your time and be an adventure “Virtual Reality” Guide for our residents at Bridgewater Retirement Community. Volunteers will serve as “tour guides” and engage in conversation with residents identifying where they would like to go and what they would like to do all from the comfort of our community. In addition to completing volunteer orientation, volunteers for this opportunity will have separate training on how to use our “Rendever Virtual Reality system.” Enjoy the opportunity to connect BRC residents with a memory of the past or experience something they have always wanted to do. Volunteer: Transport and Engage- Monday Morning Fall 2025Who doesn’t like getting pampered? Help make someone’s day special. Enjoy getting to know BRC Residents while transporting them to the beauty salon. Volunteers will interact with residents and team members by pushing residents in wheelchairs or walking alongside residents on their trips to and from our beauty salon. Enjoy the opportunity to visit 1:1 and share the gift of mobility. Volunteers will assist with helping to transport residents from households to the multipurpose room, assist residents in covering bingo cards, handing out prizes, and other support as needed. Meals on Wheels is such an important part of our community and to be able to offer another day to local residents that need support will be so important for the residents and the interaction and food they receive! The Number of Seniors Will Double by 2060. Over the next 40 years, the number of senior citizens in the US will double from 46 million to 100 million. This is why Meals on Wheels is so important to the community we live in! Program: BRC Community Connections We have had such a great success with Meals on Wheels on Wednesday that VPAS asked us to take on another day!

Residents can watch the service on close-circuit television or attend live services at BRC’s Lantz Chapel.
