Volunteer: Pet Therapy Drop in Visits

Many residents of Bridgewater Retirement Community LOVE animals; however, they cannot take care of them in this setting. Pet visits/pet therapy visits allow the opportunity for residents to engage with dogs or cats as well as volunteers.  Pet Therapy volunteers can set up a schedule that works for them with the volunteer services office.

 

Pet Therapy Volunteers will need to:

- Need to come through volunteer orientation prior to volunteering.

- Have an initiate pete  pet volunteer visit with the BRC volunteer services team.

-Provide vaccination records for their pet prior to coming into the community.

-Must keep dogs on a least or cats in a carrier which in public areas.

- Provide any Pet Therapy Association paperwork if applicable.
